Ghah! I thought it was.

The engineer yesterday said he’d found two separate faults (and fixed them). During the afternoon, my router lost network connection a couple of times. I was told it might, just once or twice. By ten o’clock last night, I was losing connection every ten minutes or so.

A phone call to BT this morning confirmed that there is still a fault “on the network”. It could take up to next Wednesday before another engineer comes out. OpenReach (the telecoms maintenance company) are abysmal. I left VirginMedia because of terrible (fibreoptic) line quality and disconnections – until last Weds, BT had been pretty stable. But their ability to get things fixed when problems come up is piss poor.

So internet is still flaky. Sodding hell.
