I have the Redgrass orange “everlasting” wet palette. It’s nice, I suppose. But I don’t really feel any difference between it and my home-made sponge-and-baking-parchment-in-a-school-geometry-set-case set-up. Like @sundancer, I don’t fill the entire area (of my smaller homebrew one even) in a single session, so the extra area doesn’t really offer much benefit.

Personally, I think I prefer the smaller one, just because it takes up less space on the desk. I guess it depends how messy you are and how much clear desk-space you have?
