I don’t hate UM really I am just very bored with the fact that they are the poster boys, you never hear anything about Cassius or the nid vets that he formed anymore, that would make an amazing addition to their force. and yes its the Mary sue thing as well, no flaws always superior. would love it if for once a second founding or cursed founding became the poster boys, just to kick it up a bit.

DA well they started off with native American names and fluff ( that’s why they have feathered crests) then they were changed to be in the style noble European knights, as an old grumpy vet I would say I liked the idea of native American style marines.

also liked the idea that you didn’t know if they were good or bad.

 

to be fair to poster boys when the blood angels were the poster boys in the 90’s I hated them because they were the poster boys but I was young and naïve
