The main problem with the current site is responsiveness, waiting 5 to 10 seconds for a project page to load, get into a subforum and then forum thread kills most of the mood for most users belonging to a younger generational batch.

Most people my age don’t hang out on forums and are often migrating from Facebook to tiktok and other such mediums. That and the attentionspan of popping popcorn don’t favor the sluggish feel of the forum.

I pretty much prefer forums and am kind of an oddball when it comes to shunning social media. But forums unfortunately aren’t in a great spot when you take the media preferences of people younger then 30 into consideration.

Though you could probably fool these youngsters by running the website inside an app.
