Counterpoint to the time window, some people have family obligations around that time or are otherwise time restricted be it because of timezones or otherwise. Limiting the discord to radioshow hours is a good way to drive me off the platform and find my casual hobby banter elsewhere I guess.

Radioshow banter is too chaotic for me as well, too many people posting random stuff for any real conversational engagement to happen.
