I too would like to see a return to the studio format. I found it more of a ‘show’ and I felt it was more appealing to watch.

Granted, the content of the two formats is the same in both formats so we aren’t missing out on anything substance wise.

I have however enjoyed the natural ‘consideration’ of each host that zooming forces on people. It was observable that Ben sometimes struggled to get a chip in until he was invited to by one of the studio based hosts. The question would be, is it really that difficult to have a live feed sent to remote hosts too?

Additionally, I have really been enjoying the energy and comedy that Free brings to the show and find her to be a wonderful addition to the team. So that then highlights another thing for consideration, with 2/3rds or half the current core weekender/XLBS team (now primarily Gerry, Ben, Free with occasionally Lloyd or Warren or Justin to a lesser extent) being ‘remote’ from the studio is it really going to be beneficial to go back just to have a pretty set and a TV show style?

Basically I suppose the question is really, do you watch the weekender and XLBS or do you listen to it?
