I was thinking about the ‘Turn 8’  yonks and yonks ago. The gang would sit around on  – I’m sure it’s a running joke – the old people’s home furniture, the darkened, beer drinking times when Lloyd would sit with his headphones on trying to keep up with the stream.

I get that times have changed, ontabletop are necessarily more commercially conscious and the technology has surged forward in the 10 years but I miss those days. It seems we got a more ‘genuine article’. I remember Warren really bashing the Khorne tank thing kit – rightly so. It was an honest, heartfelt opinion. That sounds bad though, as if the current XLBS isn’t great – it really, really is. I went bonkers with Degenesis on Gerry’s discussion, and Mythic Battles, so the family have got a huge amount from it.

Maybe I just pine for nostalgia.
