Interestingly, looking at the viewing numbers of the weekender videos on the OnTableTop Youtube channel, they’ve remained pretty consistent(ish) at around 4k-6k views (out of nearly 100k YT subscribers but there’s no detail on how many of those are paid up “backstagers”).

So it’s not costing in terms of viewing figures – it just seems that a few people who actually pay subs (and have access to this thread) are admitting (to themselves as much as to each other) that the degree of “yay!” has fallen. Maybe this is reflected in the drop off in activity in the forums that we’ve discussed at length. Maybe one caused the other – is it correlation? causation?

Interesting topic. It seems that the OTT crew still have the support of their paying members for now, even if it’s acknowledged that the video output isn’t as “professional” it once was?
