I do miss the shows where the team took us around the studio for a look at what was going on with their current projects.
I’ll confess to not watching the shows as consistently as I used to. But I’m not sure that’s such an issue with BoW. I don’t have as much free time as I used to. I’ve subscribed to more content creators so I have to be a little more selective in what I watch. I’ve also hit a point where I feel I’m going to stick with the current games I play. So newer games don’t interest me so much. By games I’m referring to wargames / miniatures board games, not board games in general. I think I’m generally harder to please when it comes to wargames nowadays.
I enjoy the banter and I think that comes a little more naturally in the studio. But then the recent Zoom shows seem to have a lot more hobby progress. Makes me wonder if I liked to see hobby progress or listen to the team rounding on Justin and Warren for not getting much done or Lloyd for taking loads of photos of a cart. Both are good. Perhaps the banter was something that made BoW stand out from all the other youtube shows and podcasts. Even Gerry’s started taking in focus photos. What’s going on!
I’m not sure there was much of a point to my post. I guess it’s let’s wait till we’ve hit the new normal and see how things pan out. Thanks for reading.
