@sundancer So far I’ve only watched a few videos that featured a virtual table top … and just watching that stuff feels awkward.

The only ones that have managed to somewhat keep my attention are effectively recordings of team/zoom meetings.
Nothing beats seeing players and dm react to stuff that is happening.
Listening to a couple of voices is tricky because most people aren’t exactly voice actors so I quickly lose track of who is doing what …

As for minis in RPG’s. If it’s a dungeon crawler type thing it helps keep me focused when the inevitable combat happens.
