Those skaven look fun. Get them on the game board! 😀

Would like to know what you think of the game after hunting that ogre! I’m not sure what I’m looking for in a miniatures skirmish game. So far I got: narrative events between scenarios, plenty of scenarios to play, not another dice game.

I’m too busy shopping for games to care about them! 😀

Well, if it’s an actual *game* I read the reviews. If it’s miniatures, at least looking at them and the company’s reputation should give me a good idea of the sculpt quality. KS has been a good way to get bulk miniatures for gaming, even if any game attached to the miniatures isn’t any good. If I see a dice-fest combat game and there aren’t a ton of miniatures, I usually don’t bother with it. As for Shatterstorm (?), it’s non-standard miniature scale and price means I’ll skip it. I’m not so much of a fan of SW and Marvel that I’d shell out money for the licensing fees. If someone wants to buy a game, I’m not stopping them, although “lifestyle” games are certainly fragmented (especially with RPG’s), so I usually give them a pass.
