I’ll admit I was waiting on the Cerberus tank and the Wayland website just crashed on m with SQL errors. It’s one of capacity. I doubt many folk really understand the kind of infrastructure and capacity needed to cope with the many thousands of transactions per second. Then there’s the return – 99% of the time they don’t need that capacity.Remember the B&Q site during lockdown? The cost invovled was tens of thousands to solve a unique, short term problem.

This argument is tired and silly. Workshop want to sell goods. They are doing that. There’s no malice when you can’t get them. It’s simple supply and demand. If folk don’t buy from the scalpers then they don’t make any money. It’s those who do who fuel the trade.

My best advice is find smaller, less well known stores and use them. Support the little guy under the radar but please do stop banging this drum and move on.
