I think it safe to say at this point that crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter and Gamefound are both a blessing and a curse.

Problem with waiting for a new game to arrive is the anticipation fades according to the inverse square law… and with kickstarter and inevitable delays I’ve usually lost interest by the time it arrives.

Exactly. We (the hobbyists) are so easily caught with the shiny new that we often forget what we already backed.

Speaking of ageing (the threads topic): It’s 5 years not that the current iteration of BoW/OTT exists!
