Zombies, good for movies and agreed that they seem shoehorned into games sometimes (see Zombiecide IP). I think there is room for more exploration of intelligent zombies. The Monster Island books did just that pretty well. ZNation was campy as a TV show but had that going for it. I haven’t watched I Zombie or Santa Clara Diet but I have reservations just by the little I know of them. I’ll give them a try to pass or fail in checking themout. From Asia zombies have some good stuff. Japan provided Zombie Ass Toilet of the Dead (get past the 30 min mark and you’re golden) which is a tour de force in B movie cheese. Thanks to the Weird Wide Web here’s a list of other good “bad” films.

Train to Busan from Korea is really good and even made impact for the series All of Us Are Dead as a point of reference. I’ve seen a few spotlights of Indonesian, Thai and Phillipino zombie films but just from the low low low production budget I saw in trailers I’ll pass. I have a palette for cheese from the likes of Troma films but I my taste was just not tickled.

Undead busts, dry undead mostly have the detail of accessories worn and wet undead seem to have facial mood going for them. The lighting for either would make painting them interesting. I’ve not planned on an undead bust but if I saw one and the mood struck me when I didn’t have anything else to paint *snicker chuckle* I might do it.

Staying hydrated is mandatory for working conditions. The temperatures are rising and the humidity was raised from much needed rain. I also am not a fan of drywallers as they finish room interiors which shoots humidity even higher sometimes.

Ha ha! Pundancer, we haven’t had a good music duel in a while. I’ll see your “forest” with Forest Swords
