On the issue of scale creep GW themselves have outright said this so I’m not sure how it’s a conspiracy or not going to happen. From their article about moving to bigger bases.

The test case will be the new Bretonnian Infantry, lets see how they scale with the other infantry then we’ll know for sure. I actually just saw this picture and I think we can safely say that while the old stuff is all coming back the same, the new stuff is definitely suffering from scale creep. Look at how massive the knights are compared to the peasants.

Knights on foot are huge compared to the peasants. Why are new models for old world scaled more like AoS?
