Coat D’arms currently own the rights to resell the original paint line that GW used before they switched to in house production. So the goblin green as you can see here is very much the original one.
I have never found out who the orginal company was and it is not Coat D’arms they did not exist until 2004. All I recall is someone mentioned at the time the comany also supplied the british army with the “nato” green they painted the tanks with.
My plegde was to paint more of the these chaps to be honest it is not going well. I say that its just taking much longer than expected.
I am curious how the fantic paints are. I have generally found the Army Painter ones to be cheaper but often lacking in pigment which for some colours would mean the coverage was pretty poor. I did switch over to using AK ones for most the army range just purely because they did historical matches to the colours. Like that makes a difference to 15mm model you play 3 feet away from lol.
