I have 2 Flak 88 kits that I am building as diorama / scenery pieces and need more of those 3 round wicker ammo boxes than the 3 -4  provided in the kits . Does anyone know of any 1/56 scale (28mm) after market pieces in resin or pewter ?

Have you looked at getting them 3d printed?

Some japanese model kit maker do make “misc items” for WW II things. Like this:

maybe there is a similar box for your needs out there?

3D print will probably be a last resort as it will probably be fairly pricey as the printer will have to design the boxes from the ground up . And as I don’t have a 3D printer or plan to get one , having someone sell me a file wouldn’t work .

Rubicon’s ammo boxes are overscale for the most part . I’ve built lots of 1/35 artillery kits with ammo boxes and Rubicon’s don’t look right at all . The Italeri 1/56 kit has , IMO nice looking ,  scale boxes , but you only get 2 . I was hoping to avoid resin  casting them myself as my failure rate lately  seems to be rather high with my last attempt ruining the pieces I used as masters .
