    Hello,

I am looking for suggestions for good metal sheet to make magnetic movement tray (for Warhammer the Old World 🙂

My hobby store used to sell them, but no longer and I did not stock up…

    Thanks for any suggestion 🙂

I tend to look in pound shops for cheap magnetic boards. You can rip the plastic edges off and could use that for pipe terrain piece and cut the magnetic boards to size.

I buy sheets from Amazon you can get some thin bendy magnetic sheets in A4 or A5 sizes. I then cut to size and glue to the minis.

That said I am now moving to using non slip matting which works really well.

    Thanks for both replies!

For whatever reason, most dollar stores close to my place were not stocking magnetic boards.. But after shopping for a while, I did find the magnetic boards, and they are a wonder! As Pagan suggested, I stripped the edges off, super easy and fast and I was left with a great magnetic sheet. It’s cheap, it’s works well with small magnets, it’s light and not too thick.

    Thanks for the tip!

For the non-split mat, it makes sense, but I haven’t seen one. What type of material do you use specifically?
