Figured I’d quickly share the awesome news Antimatter Games have a new Kickstarter running for new, 2 player starter sets for both DeepWars and Shadowsea (link). As well as a themed expansion focusing on dungeon crawling, with AI deck driven encounters and bosses. Cue solo and coop potential and using models from across the range, plus a ton of expansion potential for other locations in the world.

Big, big fan of the world and amazing models myself, so really nice to see a new entry point for new gamers for both settings. The new starters in particular offer a lot a goodies to really get stuck into the game, with stuff like, 2 warbands, 2 wild animals that hunt both forces, a two-side, printed map, character cards, paper monster miniatures for scenarios, pdfs for the rules and painting guide etc.

Plus it’s a great opportunity to pick up a few extra models for DeepWars on the cheap. A man can’t have too many Giant Mantis Shrimp after all right? 😉
