Error Popup in the forum

Hello there (mainly @tgu3 )

In there forum there is an error popping up.

Failed to load plugin: hm_bbpuip_image from url https://www.beastsofwar.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/hm_bbpuip_image/plugin.min.js

Also one of my last (and coincidentally longest posts) vanished from the forum. Was there a rollback of sorts? Or did the tagging of the team trigger some spam protection?

Hello Tom, the forum is having a popup with an error reading:

“Failed to load plugin: hm_bbpuip_image from url https://www.beastsofwar.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/hm_bbpuip_image/plugin.min.js”

Currently in the middle of updating core files and plugins. Possibly something in the cache was looking for a file that no longer exists. Once everything has been updated caches will be cleared.

I’m sure you are aware that there are a number of current Forum threads down.  I’m posting in this one to notify you but also to test if any Forum posts are working.

The ones offline are: Hobby Pledges 2025, The unofficial weekender, the paintcomp and the community comment thread.  They all show as a text only document with the following error:  There has been a critical error on this website.

It also says under ‘Browse All Forums’

“Oh, bother! No forums were found here.”

I haven’t been able to replicate the issue with the critical issue screen, I have once again flushed the caches in case users were viewing cached pages from before the forum plugin was updated a few days back. Everything under ‘Browse All Forums’ should be appearing once more. Apologies for the inconvenience.

should we log out and log back in?
I’m seeing the ‘failed to load plugin …’ message on my screen at the moment.
When I posted there was an error response and when viewing the same thread afterwards it was broken’.

Forums seem to be back up again for those of us who had the critical failure issue.  Thanks for sorting it out.

yes but still seem off. I did post into the revolution thread and the post is invisible on page 2. might be a display error
