So I’ve been looking at moving to better ventilation for a while, made the attempt to build my own fan and have succeeded in fabricating the housing. I’m in need of technical support with regard to the blower/motor. I know that the amount of space that I’m limited to within the case will be a deciding factor for the build as to how large of a motor I can throw in and the size of the squirrel cage. The real decision for my purpose of building the exhaust for my airbrush will be for the amount of noise it will produce. Has anyone worked HVAC with fan systems on ball bearings for friction reduction or have any pointers on how to reduce the amount of noise from a reverse blower impeller?
