Oooh it’s the Enterprise E. I believe that’s the future one with the massive Borg killing cannon on the top. Exciting.

I’ve been ill so my shopping expedition was cancelled so no new books yet. Did order blood bowl 2 for the x box though.

Hobby wise I got some paint on 2 of the big bads from Hellboy. Ah nuts. Just realised I forgot to paint Johan Krause.

The Primaris are almost done! Honestly the is the most painting I’ve done in a long time. I have gold highlights, parchment, white Sgt. details, and eyes to do, but that’s it…besides decals. The Tac symbol on that Sgt. is going to be hell…

@mage I will, but I used one of the shoulder pads with the rope holding the little eagle medallion and it changes the edge; I’ll have to trim the transfer a tad, but I’ll need a sharp knife to do it just right. Curse my hubris! 😛

Excepting decals, they are done! Not finished enough to go in my ‘Painted’ roster…but they must have their badges for that. I also really ought to work out basing on my army…but until I decided I’m leaving it for now. I’ve only showed the Sgt. because the other lads look the same minus a few details, but I’m happy with how they turned out.

Update on the kits, the Enterprise has been started by someone, doesn’t look too bad, a few gaps here and there but nothing I will lose sleep over.  The other kit is still in its bags, so happy days.

The only other actual stuff I did yesterday was got 8 Skeleton with Pikes built and 4 Eldar Guardians plus some tidying and a bit of planning in my head.

@crazyredcoat I don’t mind a bit of Gridiron but Rugby is my favourite sport.  Used to play, used to coach, now I just shout at the TV and sometimes go down to my local club to watch a game.  64p to base 32 models is a no brainer, can’t think of anything cheaper!  My 81 year old mother collects them for charity, and then I buy them off her when I need some, but I have a rather big collection at the moment.  I’ve loads of 20mm soldiers based on 1ps as well.  Good work on the Smurfs.

@limburger Contrast isn’t overly expensive given the potential time savings and benefits, like yourself I’ll probably pick up a few.  Thanks for sharing the art links.

Thanks for the concern all. I seem much better today.

Managed to get some more painting done and realised I should probably have done this as a project. Doh.

I did also do some base coating on some deathguard but we know I never post them.

John Wick, sorry, Baba Yaga is WIP but coming along well. I’m very happy with the Dragon so far. Conqueror Worm is also WIP and I’m a bit torn as to what colour to do the bit he is sprouting from. I’d say from the book it would be one thing but on the model it looks different.

Overall, so far though, although I am proud of my Hellboy, Lobster Johnson is my favourite.

Finished my Sergeant just now. And four to go. Gonna curl up into a ball beside the dog on the couch while I feel better after throwing up. Shouldn’t have had that naan bread left over for breakfast when my stomach already didn’t feel great. Self inflicted…
