Off early to the frozen waste I go. Got the warning of 60-70mph winds and up to 12″ of snow. Looking at this, the weather predicted might be right. I’ll catch you guys again when I get home after work.
He-Man got a lick of paint tonight.
I know Duncan would slap my legs – I started of with two thin coats but as the clock ticked towards three-hours-gone, I did start splurging it on straight from the pots. Considering I’ve not painted anything since about Xmas, I’m pretty happy with this one. Still waiting for the other MOTU minis to arrive from Canada….
He’s ready to scream “I have ze Powwarrr!!!”
Or more like :
(not bad for a cover version)
@blinky465 nice! The colour choices look spot on, I reckon ?
The weatherman must be a bad date because that turned out to be more like 3″ though the winds might’ve gusted into the 40 mph range.
@blinky465 A damn fine job of bringing that figure to life in just the right color scheme.
Since we’ve already featured Snap! I think that the ‘Power of Bhangra’ must be replayed as the cover
@horati0nosebl0wer bait and switch indeed…
@rayzryr nice progress!
Will kick off a new thread tomorrow as long as @mage doesn’t mind me usurping his incrementally advancing decade theme… 🙂
Hey guys sick as a dog all day yesterday. Think it was food poisoning from a curry. Delirious, aching, dizzy, irritbable, unable to sleep, got sick only once though…
Not great today either but better. Had to cancel on D&D tonight as well as painting sessions with friends. I got out of bed for a total of two or three hours yesterday…

@blinky465 <15 points>
Looking good so far! How finished is he? 15 points
@limburger <10 points>
That was… different. 10 points
@evilstu Fire away and host as you see fit. Im off to play Nintendo Switch to try and bounce back. Hope Im feeling well enough to drive down for my son tomorrow, stupid distance and body being sick. Also thanks for the well wishes everyone.
@mage – I painted the base black today; just the sword to tidy up (one side looks fine, the other a bit messy) then just basing and I’ll calling it done. Glad to get a mini actually finished (it’s quite rare in my house) and quite looking forward to painting up Skeletor and the rest of the gang.

70 points for the music. Gwar? Damn. I almost complete forgot about them.
Worse indeed. There was ‘good’ 90s music too, you know… 😉
One of everything released so far for Legion? Damn. That’s impressive.
@blinky465 <10 points>
Zig and Zag? That takes me back. To the late 80s early 90s, where they were on an Irish television kids program before departing for the UK a few years later. 10 points.
@limburger <10 points>
10 points for helping @blinky465 with embedding.
Yeah the 90s were a mixed bag indeed.
@rayzryr <10 points>
10 points for feedback to others.
I will come back to your Page 9 music later. Not feeling great right now.
That’s what the threads are for, motivation!
