@mage your chaos dudes look like they will be a PITA to be painted when fully assembled…. all those little nooks and crannies. Wouldn’t partial assembly be more efficient? At least for priming and base colours?

Ill be waiting a while til I use contrast paints. Wanna see what people do and how they turn out after a few months on the market.

I think I’ll not be using those. The need of special primer and being non-water-dilutable… If I should ever again play some mass army system I may be tempted more just for ease of use but at my current level of hobby I’m good with the classic method 😉

Still excited what people will be able to do with the new paints.

It will be interesting to see how they go over other brands and types of primer/base coats.  Also would like to see how they work over a gloss or satin varnish, as i wonder if that would make the highlights more extreme.

D-day – 1 today, but this needs posting

Finished up all the white metal now, all the way to highlights. It might not show up too well in the picture, but as soon as the black is done it should really pop. After that, I think I only have the gold the trim and the paper to do, so maybe have them done in a month or five, going on my usual timings. 😛

Ill total up and award this baby later, as well as go over the stuff from yesterday. Was like a zombie after work so didnt do much, but better focussed today 8)
