    Life has gotten in the way so little progress made except for the timeline which was rather more fun to write up that that long lecture. I will add in a short thing about what the game is about though it be nowhere as epic as say Warhammer for example. I have also written down a rough version of a table of contents but I stated I won’t upload til I get movement done but that maybe longer than 2 weeks.
    As I also mentioned previously that be me doing this, it motivates me to get the rules done; even if it means pieces at a time and the critiquing helps improve what I already have and what I will be working on next.
    I also know they say not to let people design the game for you but I love this feedback that I am getting. So, until next time chaps.

    @royalpain621 there’s a huge difference between using critique to guide your design and blindly applying critique because someone told you to change stuff.

    There is a niche and an audience for every game out there.
    So as long as you don’t expect to be the next “40k/AoS killer” all should be good.

    I am a realist and am not expecting to get anywhere close to those numbers.
    I am however hoping that it will be my debut as a novelist though as my own rules will be used to help write the skirmishes and battles that my stories will have. I hope.
    But this weeks update will be delayed. We have been having a bout of bad luck with a litter of kittens and half had died this week as my energy has been focused on the surviving kittens and caring for their mother. But it is being worked on still.

    Well, I found time and managed to; as far as I am certain of, finished writing the rules section related to movement as well as made some minor changes to the other sections so please let me know if you find something wrong, have a question about something or stuff like that.

    Rules for weapons arc and facings have been written and next is spotting rules. When I am done with rules for shooting, I will upload them when they are done. In the meantime, version 0.03 is also available via dropbox.

    V0.05 will be uploaded to the dedicated project page titled Magic and Tech: Development. https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1538563/ The new upload should be this Friday with rules covering everything dedicated towards infantry combat. Combat Witches rules will require more thought and should be done (maybe) by V0.06.

    Aaagh. Life has gotten in the way and after pounding my head trying to figure out some issues I am having with the rules, only to find I made some serious errors in 0.05, 0.06 has been delayed a week. I am also hoping that I will have a quick reference sheet done by then, ironed out anti-armor rules, figure out how to incorporate non-humans in a squad and how should magic be used in a game like this? I am also gonna be making a second unit card with magic created rock/ dirt beings that are, in a short story I wrote, quite hard to bring down.

    V0.07 will be in about a months time as I expand the mission creation rules, add in the vehicle;e morale chart, run some rough playtests on a small scale and begin to put together the TO&E chart. This last bit will take perhaps the longest to do as this will cover so many branches of service and so many other choices. In the mean time, please tell me if any of my links have been working and what you like, don’t like about the ruleset so far?

    Two weeks ago, my dad had passed away and the future for this project now looks bleak. I will do what I can but more of my time is being spent trying to pick up where my left off and I have had little time in touching this project. My own play tests are now on hold indefinitely until things stabilize and I am able to spend more time tackling this project.

    That is all I have to say for now.

    Well, it is not the update I hoped for but it is still a significant update with rules clarified and new ones added. V0.08 will have rules for mecha and the optional rules would be expanded.
    Also added will be two unit cards. A war dog team and a war golem controller. I will try to have this ready for next month. See you then.
