Fret not, because good news this month……

Battle Systems are going to be running the Kickstarter for their new Core Space game this month (Core Space – First Born). Looks like it might be a more solo friendly dungeon delve style of game than the core set available now.

    Core Space: First Born

If it’s anything like the previous KS, this is one you might want to take a hard look at (as you got an insane amount of “goodies” thrown in with the basic pledges (and NO “KS EXCLUSIVES”, I HATE those things)).

So now you don’t have the anguish our US counterparts have of trying to work out which KS to back (or eating Ramen Noodle butties because you backed both in the same month). I’m really looking forwards to this one to add on to the Core Space I’ve already got (and would have loved to see some “Lets Play” videos from BoW on this one, alas with this stupid virus thingy I guess that’s not on the cards this time around).

Anyhow, check out the link above. Probably going to go live in a couple of week (at a guess), as the last one ran for 4 weeks (and you want to cover the end of month paydays I guess)

I liked the concept, terrain and the rules, but minis themselves were more suited to a cheap boardgame.
The design of the minis was great, just not the production quality.

I doubt they’re going to fix that, because that just isn’t their main strenght as a company.

Probably going to back it anyway, because it still is a great idea and we need more games like this.
Especially the solo option is appreciated.
