    Hello.

I got an email today to say that some kind soul had left a comment on one of my project entries. It’s been a while since I made a project entry, so was curious to see what they’d said. It turns out it was just spam.

But there are now three spammy links on the project. Can you please remove them all?

    First smoke test

(is this common on the projects system? Is there a way of authorising comments before they are posted? Who monitors projects for spam – is this something we need to do ourselve? In which case, how do we turn on/off notifications for receiving comments on project posts?)

    Thanks!

@collins – you must be kidding! I’ve a cupboard full of the stuff from when I fell for it, last time 😉

@ panzerkaput – it’s the first time I’ve been notified of a spam entry like this being posted on the project, but when I visited the page, it turned out that there were two other, previous spam posts already against that one entry! So I’ve no idea how many of my other project entries might have spam posted against them (nor how to find out, without labouriously going through every single post?)

Another spam comment posted – https://www.beastsofwar.com/project-entry/1301364/#comment-608151

Can someone @warzan @lloyd @dignity @avernos please remove? How about a way we can mark comments as spam to remove them, and have them pushed into a “quarantine” bucket (and deleted after a few days if nobody objects to them being labelled spam)?
