well … they all float in the air exactly like big bricks should not 😉

Pledge: Get more sleep and finish up the second phase of October painting challenge this weekend

Also.. be more present on the board as I’m out of town on business

I think every game ever played with the armies I build for SAGA Age of Magic are alternate timelines. I’m happy to think that somehow, someway Shay’s Zulu Impi made it north to N.I. and faced off against Warren’s Celts.  The clash of naked man flesh would be like a chicken dinner. The winner winner chicken dinner of dark or light meat. Ok.. I need to brain bleach myself for that.

On a lighter note it seems @avernos, Lord of the Furry Tail Tree Rats, seems to be training individuals beyond his European hideout as militant foreign agents again

@grantinvanman Perhaps you could keep the hockey mask and just buy a boilers unit? It is Spooky season after all

@Lazagram I think that there is great opportunity I’d you looked at Crimson Skies as an alternate 1930s America. Think Sky Captain of Tomorrow with more dirigibles.

In good news, after reaching out to a lot of people, I found a spot with a group I played with about 5 years ago. It’s a sub spot, but there are lots of ice times, all daytime, so I start tomorrow. Huzzah! I will be in a lot of pain Thursday.

    That’s … good? XD

Well, it will feel that “I’ve done something healthy but way more than I should have pain”, which will then be compounded by picking up a Friday spot. Looks like pain is back on the menu! 😂 🥅😱

    pain, French for “bread”.

Yes you should have bread. It’s tasty! And bread belongs on the menu.

Bread.. hmm. I don’t think those are the kind of knots you’re looking for.

I just finished my first batch of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 board game models. Only the heroes and castle are actually needed for the game, but they’re still good models to paint up. Only a couple of minis shown here – the rest are in my project.

Well, I not only lived through my first game back, I actually did WAY better than I thought I should. A 1-1 tie – so I let in one measly goal, in the first period, with around 25-30 shots on net. Many crazy lucky saves, a couple of ooh and ah level ones too. And my friend, the post, made two for me. 🥅😂

@grantinvanman  and now we wait for the inevitable sore muscles?

    It’s Thursday.

    It’s dark.

I had to take a large spider outside.

Oh no! We’ve been playing Frostgrave wrong the whole time. Well a small part of it. When gathering XP after each game we assigned +5 points for every failed spell attempt. But we should have done that only if the failed spell caused damage. So we’ve played maybe 6 games so far with roughly 7 failed spells per game. That is 42 spells gone wrong. Roughly guestimation that 50% did damage only 105 points of XP should have been awarded. Not 210. That’s a full level we went too far!1!1!1

Good thing be both did it so no harm done XD

    #1946275

Sounds fair @sundancer if you both benefitted!

Surprising not as sore as I thought I would be, so the post game routine and stuff kept away the worst of it. Huzzah! Next game tomorrow.

    @sundancer I’d call that a house rule 😀

Besides … you had fun and applied the ruling to everyone, didn’t you ?

    ain’t nothing wrong with that.
