hurray! Kids back in school so my real holiday started today, and not back in work til Wednesday. On the pledge I got my 3d printing space cleared and most of the painting desk is now accessible.

Well that was a fun Tuesday.

Undressing the Christmas tree, taking the naked tree to the next school and dump its corpse there (city collects them for what ever reason). Fell on my rear end in the process. My arms felt like what I imagine 100 pull ups feel like. And to top it all off: goofing around in The Hobby Hangout and getting a cramp of my life in my right leg. FUN I say! XD

Outch. It still hurts a bit XD

Hurrah, Happy 2026 gang, what a lovely oasis of calm OTT is compared to the rest of the world at the moment 🙂

Pledge – Start digging an Anderson shelter; maybe some hobby time can be squeezed in between the desperate shovelling.

My First Miniatures purchase of the year was the Fallout Hollywood Heroes set, ironically ordered before the sharp slide towards that kind of reality. I fancied a change, and I’m a fan of the TV show and the games, something to paint when the GW fatigue starts kicking in.

In other news :
– trains are barely running, because it’s cold and there has been snow
– there is no salt left for gritting the streets … and we’re barely a few days into good winter weather

oh … and I don’t have a snow shovel, so there’s easily 20 cm snow in my garden.

I don’t need to go outside if I don’t need to, so I’m good … for now.
