@crazyredcoat I am getting withdrawal symptoms of painting stripes and naked men!  New toys look good. I have some of the metal GoT minis from Darksword somewhere, plus got quite a few of the dire wolves for cheap.

Tonight I worked on Orlando Otter.  Very much WIP

I did it! I got him finished in time for the Hobby Hangout! Basically worked on him non-stop all night. 😛 So excited to finally have him on hand to paint him that I just went for it. Project post(s) is(are) up!

New record for me, having a whole unit painted and ready for the table within 24 hours of getting the mini…

@scribbs I’m going to do Cersei Lannister next. The dress/gown that the mini is wearing should make for a fun project. Not sure after that, but I may need to bend a few of the pieces of some minis back into proper shapes. Wierdly it’s only the shields on The Mountain and Jaime Lannister than are a bit off and even then I may only fix Jaime’s because the Mountains doesn’t look too out of place.

Once again my ability to be out of time with the real world never ceases to amaze me.

• Haven’t got the wisdom to tell the difference properly yet, so probably just older.
• Don’t have the time for it. 3 days before christmas I’ve always got some other shit to do.
• Aye, if there’s anything left in the present budget I’ll put my name in the list too.

Only managed to get an hour to potter with the bases, still I think they’re good enough to put aside now. I redid the tops of the tufts with the flock that looked awful as a ground cover and liked it so much the Brits got the same treatment. Also following somones, I think Horatio, mention the clumpy flock bits got bulked out a bit. Always safe to go with a bigger bush.

I’m being really productive for some reason at the moment…at least with hobby stuff. Everything else has gone to shit, but I am painting a lot. Swings and roundabout, eh? Anyway, Cersei’s gown is finished and the project posts are up. I am probably going to bed now, though. Enjoy!

Orlando is done and painted Sammy Shrew

Spent 30 minutes as well painting a toad from Bear Head Miniatures. Going to find a base and add him to my Chaos Warband.

Finished up Cersei! Two minis in two days; I’m on a bit of a roll. Still needing to add some basing stuff and then I’ll get some nice ‘finished product’ pics in the daylight. Project post should be here tomorrow once I have those pics done.
