@horati0nosebl0wer I first encountered mead at a fantasy fair. As I always prefer sweet white wine it was like it was made for me 😀
As a result I always made sure I got a pack of 6 bottles whenever I visited that event.
After Covid the event tickets were pre-order only, which sucks as I don’t like going to an outdoor event without knowing what the weather is like. I’ve been trying to find a store that sells mead with no success (it’s only ever wine, beer or any of the more popular alcoholic drinks). Now that I’ve found a website that sells it and know that it tastes good (to me) I will have more of it in my life again 😀 It’s not cheap at around 10 Euro per bottle, but that’s my only complaint aside from having to order from a webshop.

@grantinvanman it’s below zero today for us, so the eternally recurring ice craze will start again. It always does when the water outside starts to freeze. Yesterday a bit of the snow that had fallen had frozen and became ice. Not fun, especially when you have to decide between walking on the road or on the slippery sidewalk. It was mostly gone in the afternoon, so yay.

I love to see actual snow. It’s fun to walk on freshly fallen snow and hear the soft crunch.

Gundam assemble … a boardgame in which players compete to be the first to build their Gundam ?

At least that will forever be my first thought about how the game plays when hearing that name 🙂

I’m not sure if Bandai has the skill to write a good game, but then neither does GW and look at what happened to them.
They can’t possibly be any worse, can they ?

I know nothing about Gundam, other than it being big white shiny robot things. It will be interesting to see and it may be a cool intro into the genre. However I so do not want to have yet another genre to collect, so I kind of hope it sucks as that makes it easier to avoid.

Building a Gundam kit is on my list, so who knows of things I want to do. Which also reminds me that I still have a scale model kit I want to build some day.

Things to do ?
Getting my hobby room up and running … and take pictures of my central heating unit so I can get it replaced. I knew it needed replacing when I bought the house, so that’s simply a thing that needs doing.

Japan did a thing again? Does it involve tentacles? Will knowing about/mentioning it cause people to discredit me publicly? Lol… I caught up on the info and I agree that the collect,paint,play is ok.

I think I have found a mix of anime and The Confederasaaaah that @shayott and @avernos can use as hellish inspiration for their upcoming game. Buckle up everybody. This is going to get weird.
