First two miniatures painted, both from Crooked Dice.

A mix of Contrast paints for the base coats and normal paints for highlights. I also used ink here and there for deep shading where needed.

@templar007 error diagnostics on modern vehicles is just… it’s worse then troubleshooting a pc. (mainly because PC parts are not so heavy that they could crush you.) That’s why I like old cars.

It’s Sunday morning, I feel a bit worn and I have a fresh cup of coffee.

Already Wednesday. I blame the lack of interaction on the very good thread of “30 minutes of hobby a day”. Also it’s getting harder to get out of bed because it’s cosy dark

Do you get out of bed easier when there is light or doesn’t that affect you?

Well, belated Happy Hatch Day to @brennon  ………… (my Dad always called it Hatch Day instead of birthday)

 

I have finished my SUV work that was keeping me from Hobby last weekend.  The new coil did not do the job.  So that left the Distributor as the culprit.  There is an ignition condenser integrated into the Distributor that can’t be replaced unless you replace the whole unit.  I have done that and the vehicle started up the first time I hit the switch!  27 minutes to install the part, five minutes to check and adjust the timing, and $295.79 (tax included) for the part.

I am now planning a “Revenge Hobby Weekend” to make up for the missed hobby goodness from last weekend!  🤓👍

 

BTW…………. @sundancer you looked great on the XLBS!  Well DONE!   I believe you’ve earned a ‘Golden Microphone’ for your presence and contribution to the prestigious, Internationally Renowned, IPTV  Show we all know and love!

@sundancer Yes, very much. There’s nothing worse than thinking it’s the middle of the night and you still have many hours of sleep ahead when you look over at the clock and it’s time to get up.

Finished my 10mm wood elf force by doing some warhawk riders and all the characters. I think the characters in particular come out very well with contrast paints.
