Well i just had a game of KoW3 today and its really good. Using my old GW High Elfs against GW dwarfs.  It felt like good old WFB 7th ed but quicker and less hassle to play. So they can bring it back if they want but i’ll probably just stick with Kings of War and not buy into this. That’ll teach them for blowing up the world i grew up in.

These future releases from Para Bellum look great. Not sure they should link this to GW and their news/rumors at all. The same goes for Mantic. A game and its models should stand on its own. I know GW are the elephant in the room but trying to convince people to purchase or wait for their stuff seems like a lost cause.

@zeker1966 in todays’ market the likes of Mantic and Para Bellum can’t affort do ignore the 800 pound pink gorilla in the room.
They need to let the people know that they are out there within the same style of game as well.

Heck … this massive thread is proof that GW knows how to generate hype.
The likes of KoW already struggle to get noticed (without the KoW hype on this website I would have forgotten they existed … ).
Same thing applies a thousand times more to a 1st edition game by a ‘new’ company like Para Bellum.

At least Mantic has players out there who can (and should) promote their games by either playing or talking about it.

I reckon they will make it in 13 or 22mm scale. Bigger than Warmaster. Something awkward so you can’t easily use other companies minis. Because they have got so good at complex minis with lots of thin parts they could probably make quite good small troops now.
