    Hi all,
I have been following the guys at Clever Unicorn games ever since i was lucky enough to rob Justin’s demo copy of Weird Alchemy at the UK games Expo and get a few games in with the rest of the volunteer camera crew supporting the guys at OTT.
Well i’m very pleased to say that their kickstarter for this fantastic little card game has been funded in 72hrs.

The link to the kickstarter page game rules is here:

And i strongly suggest that if you enjoy a game with easy to learn rules (5 mins max); a good laugh whilst dropping your opponents in the smelly stuff; some beautiful artwork of unspeakable monsters that you have mistakenly created in your lab; and of course some wacky spells to deal with them in case they escape, then this is definitely for you.

Chris, one of the team (and games designer) behind this great project has been kind enough to send me through some sneak peaks of upcoming cards for the special edition version, some of which have just recently been put up on the kickstarter page and one of which is exclusive for to us at OTT to see now. I love the names of these creations, i mean who wouldn’t like a Cauli-Clops (except @dignity!) and what better way to tackle it than a weed killer spell (seen here first). The pumpkin Necromancer is another cool monster to have and i think the only problem with the game is that the artwork is so good you may forget that the aim of the game is to try and not have monsters in your hand when an accident happens (or if your mad enough, try and collect a set of three, so they cancel each other out!)

So what’s stopping you, this is an absolute steal at £7 (+ delivery) for the basic pledge and the higher ones don’t cost that much more. it’s a great travelling/pub/coffee table game and plays in @ 15 mins.

Have a look and let me know what you think.

Ah thanks for the heads up on this bud, I saw you guys playing this at UKGE and dropped by the stall. Had not seen the KS go live so thankfully I am now onboard.

It’s a great game, the price is more than reasonable and the turnaround on the Kickstarter is also pretty good compared to others I’ve backed. What’s not to like 😁👍
