May 29, 2018 at 12:19 pm #1192669May 29, 2018 at 1:50 pm #1192785Finally started my Star Wars Legion pile at the weekend – General Veers done! 🙂
May 29, 2018 at 5:59 pm #1193006So this is a big one for me. I have completed my Victrix Republican Roman group, 36 figures in total. 24 are hastatii/princeps with pilum (some with swords) while 12 are triarii with spears. I have used LBMS-tranfers for the shields. Overall, I am happy with the force which is now only lacking the cavalry to be a complete, small, roman army (adding the 46 figures painted earlier). Wohoo 🙂
So, first one of the two commanders and his retinue;
..and backs;
Two of the movement trays, also made customly to fit the magnetised bases, with the pilum armed legionaries;
and backs
Finally, the whole group and the advance… now they only need to find an opponent to fight 🙂

So while the site was out and since it’s back here are two things I finally finished.
First my basic british force for Bolt Action. Just 300 pts ready to roll:
And finished today. My core british for Team Yankee. Now I got to add the lynxes and the rest.
I say…. it is VERY british lately ain’t it. oh well next some Mig 29 and back to 40k with some orcs (man it feels like it’s been ages since I did some foot slogger orcs)
May 29, 2018 at 8:43 pm #1193210I tried to do some painting tonight, really couldn’t focus because of the heat. At least I made a start on the King’s Man and the Butcher from Kingdom Death: Monster.
May 29, 2018 at 9:03 pm #1193226Finished up my Legion Snowtroopers, but I painted them up as Galactic Marines for when I don’t play on a Hoth board.
May 29, 2018 at 10:30 pm #1193263I did post these earlier but those look crap because “crude link integration”. So here in all it’s glory: my Star Wars: Legion storage trays.
May 30, 2018 at 10:59 am #1193614Started my work on Archaon the Everchosen. Impressive ‘miniature’. So much fun to paint.
Work in progress

May 30, 2018 at 1:23 pm #1193737Finally. It’s more 15mm 1805 Austrians. And this times its my Generals and their Staff (and a few markers at the end). I really tried to increase my layering on these and again came to end of my skills with the brush. I just cannot paint finer lines. But I’m still quite pleased with the result. Take a look for yourself.
The Generals with staff:
Erzherzog Karl (Archduke Charles) and his personal adjutant:
General of the Cavalry and his two Aid de Camp (Flügeladjutant):
General of the Infantry:
Flügeladjutant (Aid de Camp / ADC), note his gold rimmed cuffs 😀
And lasty 10 cohesion markers (wound markers):
On my last Austrian @andre77 paid me the greatest compliment I have ever gotten on my painting. He said something a long the lines of: “Great work. Especially all the details. But since when do you collect 28mm Napoleonics?” – And I just went: “Well thank you, kind sir, but these are 15mm :D”.
At first he didn’t wanted to believe me. So here is the proof:
