What's going on with FFG distribution in the UK?

A lot of Fantasy Flight Games (FFG) products are missing from a number of UK websites. I was looking for Arkham Horror LCG products and then i checked others. Some websites have notes next to FFG products with low stock such as ‘Last Chance to Buy’ and ‘Last Stock for a While’ (Dark Sphere) and ‘It is likely that distribution has ceased’ (Element Games). I looked at FFG’s website and there are no available products, at all. I wonder if the creation of Atomic Mass Games by Asmodee is the start of breaking up FFG’s product line and perhaps a general reorganisation of Asmodee’s various imprints. Does anyone know what’s going on?

AMG wasn’t created by Asmodee, that’s a whole other hilarious cluster fuck and well worth looking into.

But with the current restructuring of the various companies under the Asmodee umbrella it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a few massive speed bumps while they reorganise who is producing what and where it’s coming from. I will attempt to poke someone there and see if they can shed some light on the whole thing mind you.

I received a reply from a couple of stockists in the UK and they both wrote that it was a supply issue. One wrote that the supplier no longer has them and another wrote that they have them all on backorder but they don’t know when the items will be back.

Asmodee own Esdevium so it would be a bit odd if stock was being held up in distribution. Makes more sense that there just isn’t any stock.
