Bought the digital version of the game and had it printed at my local UPS store. Book is over 200 pages and covers character creation, basic rules, character progression, introductory scenarios (an evil army has invaded the kingdom of Alladore and your rangers must venture out to fight evil)  and a bestiary. The last quarter of the book is the first campaign in the story, a nine scenario mission that sees your rangers exploring an abandoned ruin in the cursed Shadow Deep, trying to recover a valuable artifact.

You can use whatever fantasy miniatures you have on hand to represent your rangers and you will need some monster miniatures as well (I picked up some Giant Rats and spiders from Reaper: Bones).  All dice rolls are performed using a D20. The rules are written by Joseph A. McCullough the author of Frostgrave: Fantasy Wargames in the Frozen City and Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago so fans of these systems should find plenty to enjoy here. There is a simple mechanism to active the evil forces opposing you and the game works well. The artwork in the book is all black and white and very reminiscent of old-school D&D artwork.

All in all a very fun game to play by yourself or cooperatively with friends.
