Warlord Games’ Greek & Spartan Starter Armies Form Ranks

Warlord Games has added two big armies to their collection for those who like some Ancient warfare in the vein of Hail Caesar. The Greeks and Spartans are marching to war with two Starter Armies.
The Spartan Army is one that we saw teasers for earlier in the month. It comes with a mass of plastic warriors hunkered down behind their shields in phalanx formation whilst some of your soldiers skirmish around the flanks. It's topped off with three character models to lead the way.
The Greek army is more or less the same but with the addition of three different character models and the mounted skirmishers that will be harrying the flanks instead.
A number of additional metal Generals are also available for both sides and you can look to expand your force with other units too. I'm sure we haven't seen the end of this army either when it comes to new releases.
With plenty of characters and LOTS of plastic for you to put together, this could be a great new project for you running into the midst of 2018.
Thankfully, there are plenty of transfers out there for those who like to have colourful shields. Talking of colour, these forces are going to be a step apart from dark chainmail and dirty camouflage which you're used to seeing in Historical games. A nice dash of colour is always welcome.
