Shamans & Winter Warrior Women Take Shape From Hasslefree

Hasslefree Miniatures looks ahead to some finished and work-in-progress miniatures for their Matt Dixon project. We kick things off with the Jaguar Shaman, Boudi.

Some fiddly bits here and there need to be finished on this model but I think she's looking rather awesome. While it would be tempting to paint her in darker colours for ease I think that she should get a big splash of colour. You've got to at least work on jaguar patterns for the skins on her headdress.

If you prefer your warrior women to be from the frozen north then how about the update for Helen who now has an axe and shield.

There will be different options on the final sprue include an empty right hand and a spear too. She is certainly a rather epic looking shieldmaiden, perfect for Warren's warband in SAGA?
