Privateer Press has released a couple of new sets for those venturing into the Fantasy world of Hordes. At the forefront, we have the Trollkin Gunnery Sergeant set which gives you a solo to lead the way.

When it comes to using them in gameplay you'd imagine that they'd be perfect for those who have very ranged-focused Trollblood armies. Well, you'd be right. They are able to strip stealth away from enemy miniatures and can increase the accuracy of your guns too. Additionally, they can also call in an artillery strike on a location for when the small guns just don't cut it.

I do love the narrative of this miniature too with the small fellow and the big fellow both trying to get their eye on the situation. It plays nicely into the comedic side of the Trollbloods in Hordes that makes them so intriguing as a faction.

Blow It Up!

As well as the Gunnery Sergeant we also have an option for Minions players and those that need a bit of extra firepower in their games. Here is the Farrow Sapper & Mines set.

Farrow Sapper & Mines // Hordes

Farrow Sappers allow you to disrupt the movement of your opponent before the game begins. You can place the three mine markers on the battlefield which will restrict where your opponent goes, making it easier to funnel them into the blades of your allies. As well as using them pre-game the Sapper can also throw mines at enemies if they so desire. When they die, the Sapper has also ensured that the mines are still active and dangerous all the way through the game!

If you're into ranged firepower or just explosions then these sets seem an apt addition to your Hordes force.
