Hysterical Games Have A Kick About With Futbowel For Panzerfauste

Hysterical Games have put together their new beer & pretzels style game for you to get stuck into between bigger games of Panzerfauste at the tabletop. It's time to leap from the trenches and play some Futbowel.
The game will be released on December 1st, 2017 and two teams are going to be included to begin with, focusing on the Dwarves and the Orcs. Inside the Main Set you get...
- Rulebook
- 11x Orc Futbowelers
- 11x Dwarf Futbowelers
- Gnome Referee
- 4x Goal Posts
- A Futbowel
You can pick up the main set for this game or you can also snap up the teams individually too with an Orc Team...
...and a Dwarf Team available separately.
The idea is that you could use these teams for Futbowel but then in the main game, Panzerfauste, as prisoners, and the goalposts work as objective markers too.

I could be wrong but I am sure Wessex games had something like this year’s ago. If so is this Re release of something new?
It’s a nice thought, and a point in their favor, that the components could also be used in the main game.
Just a note that this is released 1st December 2016, not 2017!!!!!
Torros, yes, Steve wrote Futbowel, which had more traditional football players, and was limited to Orcs. This new version is exploring the idea of a one off event between Orcs and Dwarves on the battlefield, but if it does well enough, we’ll release more factions!
If it does REALLY well, we might do traditional players too!
Looking very good, tempted for the full game, and a good flavour with the other shaped balled games out there!
Yeah, it certainly is it’s own entity! The idea is that it’s a game in a box. Nothing fancy, just good plain fun – a pick up and play beer and pretzels game that Steve and I mutually agree we would pick up and play!
The figures could be used as Prisoners of War or Artillery crew in Panzerfäuste, and the goal posts make great objective markers.
So it really is a handy set of figures!
Now all we need is a Sylvester Stallone mini to go with this 😀
