It's time to take a look at possibly the coolest looking Iron Kingdoms Unleashed character from Privateers Press' latest Adventure Kit release. See what you think of the funky Pygmy Troll Gullin Oathbreaker...

Gullin Artwork

As you might imagine Gullin is quite a cool looking character but he wont be taking any nonsense. He is after Warlord Morrg for a very personal reason and that's because he stole something from him. His own people!

"The whelp climbed atop Gullin’s bowler cap and attempted to grab his cigar as the chief rolled it from one corner of his mouth to the other, an unconscious habit he exhibited when trying to puzzle out a problem. The pygmy troll threw one of the axes back into the tree. Knuckle took off like a shot and pulled like mad to free the weapon, undeterred by its earlier failures."

...

“Come.” Gullin fixed both axes to his belt and pulled Knuckle up to sit on his shoulder. The whelp plucked the cigar from Gullin’s mouth and took a pull. In imitation of its creator it exhaled a cloud of smoke and puffed out its chest.

Gullin drew himself up. “I am strong,” he said. “I am a leader. I will solve our problems myself.”

Despite his size he is not to be messed with and I love that he has his own little friend in the form of Knuckle the Whelp. The full story (which you'll be able to read more on tomorrow) shows him getting to know his little friend Knuckle and reinforces the way in which I think Unleashed emphasises the brotherhood aspect of survival out in the wild.

Gullin will be fighting to free his people, make Morrg pay and prove himself an equal. He can either focus on being a Warrior or indeed follow the Chieftain Career. He's one mighty hero.

If you're interested in the other heroes then you can read about Lurk and Longchops in Unleashed Legends: Blood In The Water from Skull Island...

Iron Kingdoms Unleashed

The Iron Kingdoms Unleashed Adventure Kit is now available and you can also grab the rulebook for the set via DriveThruRPG. This looks like an awesome set and I would love to give it a go!

Would you play Gullin?
