Mongoose Kickstart the Law in Mega City 1

Mongoose Publishing have been the producers of the Judge Dredd miniatures game for around about 2 years now, but with the release of the new Dredd 3D film now might be the moment for Mega City 1 to expand.
While the miniature rules for the Judge Dredd minis game are available to download, Mongoose Publishing are now working on bringing out a new supplement with the help of funding from Kickstarter; Block War.
This will bringing a whole plethora of new things to include in your games around Mega City 1, such as new scenarios where the Judges have to deal with block wars, bringing the law to a rioting citizenry.
The supplement will also include rules for whole new factions, which will be appearing thanks to the Kickstarter funding. So expect to see new starter box sets for whole new groups such as the Brit-Cit judges and even the dreaded Dark Judges, who we are still waiting to see.
Now of course it wouldn't be Kickstarter without some cool goodies to entice you into parting with your hard earned cash and Mongoose really seem to have gone all out in providing a great selection of shinies to get your mits on.
From single miniatures, to box sets, even the chance to get your own personalised mini in the game, there's truly something for every budget range.

More Dredd mini’s is good but it does feel like the kickstarter is a bit lacklustre, don’t get any extra freebies when stretch goals are met so far apart from Walter. Once dreadball is finished and payday has been I’m sure I’ll invest in it anyway.
Also, the new film is great. Loved it.
True, the Dredd film was great. Although I have to admit that the Sylvester Stallone film is something of a guilty pleasure of mine.

The ABC Robot in that film was AWESOME. People can say what they like about the Stallone film, but that Robot was badass. I want one one of them for when I go shopping downtown!
I have played a number of games of this system over the last couple of years and I like it. Its nicely streamlined and very true to the comics. Plus its a free download so its easy to check it out. I recommend it for one off games for sure. The campaign system I am slightly less sure of, but I have only played that for a series of about four games over a day or so, so I am reserving judgement (heh) on that for now. I’m on the fence about this one, as I know very little about Dredd other than some basics of the universe. I have seen both of the movies and can certainly see the potential fun for gaming, and I do like the aesthetic of the Judges. Can some of you folks elaborate with some thoughts on the game itself for me?
For reference I play Strange Aeons as my primary tabletop game, and also dabble in 40k and Hordes
