It's time for a terrifying Kickstarter as Kabuki's much anticipated Lovecraft Nightmares crowdfunding campaign goes live.

Idol of Cthulhu

The primary goals of this campaign is to gain funds for their awesome Idol of Cthulhu, as well as their Cult Token of the Undenied Truth pendant.

Both of these pieces look to be of superb quality. They mark something of a change in direction for Kabuki, being almost collectible props rather than full on miniature sculpts. Still, Kabuki's attention to detail can still be seen in both of them.

To entice backers, Kabuki are offering a number of different Kickstarter exclusives, such as the Cult of Cthulhu Collector's Edition.

This particular pledge offers everything you need to get your cult up and running, from sinister, dribbly candles to scrolls bearing the summoning invocations of different beings from the mythos.

Should Kabuki manage to reach their goal then they have stretch goals set up to bring us the idols of other elder beings.

We have been teased with images of these twisted creations for a while now, so it is good to see it make its appearance on Kickstarter. While none of the pieces could be easily used in a tabletop game, they nonetheless make fantastic collector's pieces, as well as possible props for Call of Cthulhu LARPs.

Are you going to pledge your allegiance to these beings?
