Get Stuck Into The Orc Chaos Of Planet Smasher’s Space Gits
April 14, 2025 by brennon
Planet Smasher Games are now on Kickstarter with their new project, the quirky and chaotic dexterity-based Sci-Fi miniatures game, Space Gits. This game of drunken orc-on-orc combat is available for you to dive into with rules, miniatures and more to get you started.

During your games of Space Gits, you're playing as drunk-ass space Orcs who are fighting their way through the megacity of Gnork. The core of Space Gits is a unique dexterity-based game mechanic that drives a two-to-five player experience that plays in under an hour. The game encourages kitbashing and you can even play Space Gits as a drinking game if you want to get fully onboard with these drunken antics.

As mentioned above, Space Gits features some rather silly rules but they help to fit the vibe of the game. To move, you roll dice onto the tabletop and move directly towards them. When you shoot, you do pretty much the same, rolling dice and firing bullets in a direction you hope includes your enemies. Fighting uses a twist on rock-paper-scissors, dropping you into an Orc-based bluffing game.
Damage and activations are managed using a little tower of dice that have to stay in contact with your Orc gits at all times. That means when you move your miniatures, you have to move the tower of dice with it and if the tower falls down, so does your git. They can't get back up unless a pal kicks them out of their drunken stupor. It really is a unique game in that regard!

All you need to play the game are between three and five Space Orc miniatures, a 2x2 foot tabletop and plenty of terrain to throw into the mix. You will need lots of d6 (the quirkier, the better) and twenty or so bottle caps. You're ready to go once you've got the rules and a tape measure.
If you'd like to see the game in action, you can check out a Learn To Play video below...

You can also download the Quick Start Rules for Space Gits from Planet Smasher and see what you think of the game using the mixture of Orcs you've probably got lying around in your collection.
Pledge Options & Miniatures
If this has got you intrigued, you can dive in and just get the rules for Space Gits or you can grab yourself some bundles which include some miniatures and bits from the partnership with Kromlech. A marriage made in heaven.
Space Gits - Give Me Everything Pledge // Planet Smasher Games
For example, Give Me Everything does what it says on the tin. It gives you the hardback rulebook, the exclusive miniature for Officer Krunk (see below), all three of the Kickstarter Gangs, a teleportaloo, two vending machines, five scrap barricades and six explosive barrels plus loads of options for arms AND a Goblin Gang for good measure.

As mentioned above, Space Gits is actually miniature agnostic so you can use whatever you have in your collection but Kromlech are helping out by providing a bunch of pre-made gangs for you to get started with. You might want to play a game with The Fuzz who are going to be laying down some kind of law.

Alternatively, you might want to go with the Grill Cooks who are making some solid grub and interrupting them might end up in a cleaver to the noggin.

Last but not least, you've got City Boys, who are a little more how-to-do! They have fancy top hats and plenty of high-end grog to their name.

However, you can build whatever kind of gang you like for use in Space Gits and the world really is your oyster. Make sure to check out the rest of the Kickstarter campaign from Planet Smasher Games and tell us what you think.
I do like how wild and fun Planet Smasher has made this game and it should be a great way to spend an afternoon farting around, not taking things too seriously.

Love that Officer Krunk. The game itself doesn’t really do much for me for what ever reason. It’s orcs! My mind is weird. Good luck Mike!
Am I only one seeing officer krunk as judge dredd?
Nope, I’m pretty sure that’s “the point” XD
I love all the Orcs. The game seems … I don’t know. Silly? Could be fun but I don’t get it.
I imagine this is going to do well just for the Orcs, though, everyone needs more Orcs!
Backed this as soon as it went live. Mike’s game are excellent, the kind of silly fun that is good for a pick up game at a quiet club night. Already got plans for a couple of days later on in the year for it
