Mantic Games are diving into the world of Kings Of War: Vanguard with some new artwork and renders for their Nightstalkers as well.

Here, for example, we have The Butcher in all his glory, cleaver in hand. This particular creature popped up as the guys from Mantic were discussing the use of dice in their game, taking a cue from The Walking Dead: All Out War.

This also plays into some renders that popped up of the other Nightstalker models.

This creature is looking like quite the terror, maybe something dragged up from the pits of the Abyss. I think it reminds me of the strange monsters from Dante's Inferno, the video game.

You can see some more angles of the creature above giving you an idea of the kind of monsters you're likely to see popping up in Vanguard.

As well as the Nightstalkers we also have news on both Character Cards and how Fatigue works in the game. It seems like this is going to be a nice focused experience with plenty of cool skirmish elements.

Fatigue, for example, uses some of the risk and reward aspects of gameplay that we like seeing. You can use Fatigue to activate your abilities and get a few more actions out of a character in order to maybe create a bit of a hero moment on the tabletop.
