Anonymous Tabletop Podcast entertained us with a gladiatorial battle with the loser being grinded up.  All participants fight knowing their most loved (or least) model may meet its doom…

Oh my… that’s painful even for the gnarliest model.

Like an old school DM tearing up your character after the failed saving throw.

Some people used some really nice sigmarites, they’re nuts.

This is where you pull out Mr Titanium Cube and challenge the grinder to do it’s worst

I’ve heard about old school DnD DM’s melting people’s metal mini’s if their character died…. Presumably minis cost a lot less back then.

very severe end for the looser, should do that to some of the crap dice?

This is worse then old Magic ante. Some brave or crazy souls there.

I think it makes it all the more dire to think that your piece might be cut into smaller pieces. Its a lot better than Chaos Confetti from the Unglued set of MtG.

Seen that done with bad dice before, but maybe it is the minis that are to blame 🙂

This sounds like the best thing to copy in other conventions where you broadcast the intent beforehand so that people actually show up with their own figures for use. I do feel a little squeamish about imagining the actually sounds of the grinding. Its about as bad as the anticipation of what will happen at the dentist’s office.
