I like John’s comments on how the game is really about not getting hit, not about hitting things. It really does give it some realism.

Having such brilliant and willing experts on hand to bring the rules and game to life is probably the best and most lasting effect of going on a boot-camp. Plus it’s just great fun.

Cover is your friend allright, but I also like my determined attack, quick and surpassing enemy front positions.

Cover is your friend is a good mechanic for a WW2 game in my opinion.

Fantastic insight into the game, hearing from fairly new people into rhe game really helps, I’m very much like Martin with this one and the small scale has always put me off. I’m now loving this scale and definitely looking into this game.

God to hear that the rules are based on real world events. Still not sure how the flying saucers fit in to that!

The game is so much fun when your opponent isn’t so uptight and strict with wysiwyg. Stuff like this just brings excitement to our hobby.

I love the 15mm scale, I was also a little wary at first but it is truly cinematic. HAHA, storage is also easier.
