Are You Going To Pick Up Duncan Rhodes' New Paints?

We stopped off with Duncan Rhodes to talk about the new paint range that he brought to Kickstarter. Are you going to be picking these up?

Make sure to check out the range when it releases to retail in the near future.

I’d like to see John trying out these paints and what his opinion is.

Duncan seems a genuinely nice bloke, but I couldn’t help but notice he was only wearing one thin coat. 🙂

What a great army painter. Really miss seeing Duncan painting the GW stuff. But greatness can’t be held back by just one company. Onward might painter.

I really do like the idea of the 3 colour system. T will pick up a view colours and see how they compare.

GW not really been the same since the Legend that is Duncan left… in fact I’ve not watched a GW painting tutorial since. ? I hope his painting academy is a booming success for the indie sector and in the future teams up with art colleges and schools to help develop the community through workshops and competitions. ??

Always willing to try new things and if they’re good enough for Duncan then surely they have to be worth a try.

I’ll definitely grab a couple when they are available and give them a go. The metallics sound interesting!

I knew Duncan way back when him and Peachy use to run the Derby GW store before both of them made the move to Lenton. I can honestly say he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve met in the hobby, and Peachy is as well. The Derby store was one the best well run GW stores I’ve been along with Swansea when Rob ran it.

The kickstarter wasnt for me, but great to seem duncan doing well and another paint range on the block, I’m sure I’ll give these a go at some point. Love painting using vallejos triads, so another triad based system is a big thumbs up!

I backed his KS for everything, i trust Duncan and it was a good price for an entire paint range, plus dropper bottles!so what’s not to love?

He’s almost a cult celebrity , I have never met anyone who hated Duncan. I wonder how joe blow gets ahold of these paints after the kickstarter.

Yeah, for I’d try some of these when they hit retail. Duncan has got my interest piqued talking about the metallics.
