Battle Systems Give Us The Lowdown On Their New Projects

Battle Systems has been getting stuck into another big project which involves some rather epic Fantasy terrain. This is going to be perfect for all of the skirmish games coming out.

Also, if you’re interested in THAT there’s also their Sci-Fi and Dungeon sets plus of course Core Space to get stuck into.

Hoping that Battle Systems revisit and expand their City//Urban Apocalypse Range after the new Fantasy village.

When this fantasy set finally lands I can stop beating myself up for missing out on the original set.

What is that giant model?

Its Mantics giant – really big, even for a giant mini!

Splendid buildings – for a comparably cheap penny and pre-painted. Looking forward to the KS!

That Fantasy range is really coming together. Looks stunning. Just a few more hours a day and it will soon be on our tabletops.

Looks fantastic, having both ruined and undamaged buildings is excellent for skirmish use. This stuff stores very compactly, also, if it follows their earlier ranges, so easy to pack and travel with.

Those fantasy sets are going to be awesome, and with the new tabs. I ordered a pack of the new locking tabs and they’re miles better!

Core Space, yeah, planned to order mine after the tax return.
Those who haven´t done so so far, check out their website. Their ranges are just fabulous.

I do like the look of their stuff, but because it always feels so light and the slightest touch will move it about I don’t like using it.

I hope we see more of the fantasy terrain. It looks so good.

Core Space is well worth a buy. It’s one of the few KS launched games that actually has a good set of rules that has you coming back to play repeatedly (I’d put it second to Dreadball for me at the moment). Alas some KS schemes do the rules just to launch all the minis and don’t actually deliver a good game. Core Space is one of the happy exceptions to the norm 🙂

I saw the fantasy terrain on Friday and it blew my mind. This is Battle Systems on another level. Some of the clips look like roof trusses and genuine parts of the terrain so it’s a new level of immersion. I’m going to Elder Scrolls the hell out of this kit when both ranges drop!

This one surprised me, I own an urban set and core space but did nothing think a fantasy setting would work given the ridged nature of the cardboard but seeing this for myself I was very impressed with it. I don’t think it for me will replace things like what can be done 3d printing but this certainly has a place and it looks great.
